LUFKIN Rule Co. 100ft Cloth Tape Measure - "repaired", Leather Wrapped Case, USA. Cloth tape with graduations each 1/2-inch.
Found on the top shelf, pushed back, in a man-shed, as his family settled the gentleman's estate. At one time (I assume) the stitching separated, and someone first used a duct tape solution. Now reinforced with likely a fiberglass/epoxy mixture. The end of the tape also once tore near the end clip, and a repair splint attached on the bottom. That "repair" keeps the end of the tape outside the spool
I unspooled the tape - its a full 100ft - with colors more vibrant near the center of the spool. Other than some fading on the tape, and of course handling, wear on the case, the seems in good shape.
No owner markings noted in a quick check.
